I’m absolutely convinced that if each of us would find ways to spread kindness in our neighborhood and our communities, we could change the world. Today, I want to talk about kindness that’s coming from your kitchen. If you’re making soup or a casserole for your family, make extra. Put it in a container and share it with someone who’s going through a difficult time right now.

Here’s one of my favorite recipes for a simple, delicious caramel fruit dip that is perfect for spreading kindness. It tastes amazing! I’ve served just hundreds of times, and I’ve never had one complaint. It’s only four ingredients. I made this recipe the other day and shared it with a friend who had a houseful of company.

Caramel Fruit Dip

Kindness comes in many forms, and I personally enjoy sharing kindness from my kitchen. Here are a few other ideas for how to show care through food:

  • For friends who are grieving or recovering from surgery, take the guesswork out of meal planning for them. When you bring a meal, give them a few menu options so they can pick one and not have to answer the vague, “what would you like me to bring?”

Who will you bless today with some kindness from your kitchen?
