Plato said, “Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.”

Recently I did a presentation for a group of about 20 adults and I was surprised to hear of all the issues and suffering that were going on with this group of individuals.  For example, they were dealing with aging parents, there were two examples of breast cancer, one daughter had MS, one couple’s mother and mother-in-law had recently died, another woman’s husband was on disability and her child had suffered a lot of seizures.

So I think it’s true, we don’t always know from outward appearances.  So let us follow what Plato said, “Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.”
