New Year’s Care Well Challenge

by General Caregiving, Wisdom, Wisdom Podcasts0 comments

Are you ready to make care giving a regular part of your life?

As the New Year begins, many people are thinking about making resolutions and starting new habits to live better lives. Now, maybe New Year’s resolutions aren’t really your “thing.” But perhaps you could resolve to include caregiving in your daily life. Imagine that you have a blank notebook, just waiting for you to write the names of those who would benefit from a kind word or simple gesture.

This is a low-pressure request; caring for others doesn’t have to involve lots of time or money. In fact, there are people all around you that are hurting. If you resolve to see them, to hear them, to walk alongside them in their pain, God will place them in your path.

So today, I’m issuing you a New Year’s Care Well Challenge to make a simple commitment to approach each day with hearts and hands that are open to the needs of the hurting.

Will you join me?
