Help Carry The Burden

Help Carry The Burden

Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2

Last night I saw a movie about courage and carrying one another’s burdens. The movie was “#42.” It was about Jackie Robinson, the first black player in major-league baseball. Consider the Geese

Consider the Geese

I love watching a large flock of Canadian geese flying in their V-formation. They speak of the changing of seasons and also of the value of teamwork. We can learn to be better caregivers if we consider the ways of the geese.

Did you know that when a goose gets sick or wounded, it never falls from formation by itself? Two other geese will fall out of formation with it and follow the ailing goose down to the ground.

So today, I am listening to the wisdom of Ralph Waldo Emerson who says, “You cannot do a kindness too soon, for you never know how soon it will be too late.”
