At Wisdom of the Wounded, it’s our joy to support caregivers as they lift up the hurting, and there’s no better time to care well for those in need than at Christmas. Read on to learn about our favorite caring ideas for the holiday season!
Some of our family’s favorite Christmas memories involve traditions of caregiving that we’ve developed over the years. For example, my husband Larry gets such a kick out of writing Christmas cards, and so we’ve made it a tradition to tag team the effort of sending little notes of encouragement to loved ones around the globe.
Another favorite family tradition: we invite our grand kids over to help make Christmas cookies that we then deliver to first responders or to those who we know are going through a tough time.
